My Dad's heavily modified stryker is having severe glitch problems. He's using a Hitec 555 reciever, and we tried with another 555, and the glitching was only marginally resolved. Replaced the crystal, no better. I tried my electron 6 (couldn't be any better than 555, just smaller and +1 channel) with my radio on my channel. No problems whatsoever. Flawless range. What could be wrong with the setup? Antenna replacement time? Service time? I'm going to see if the electron and 555 crystal are the same, we'll try his channel with the electron. That would point to the transmitter.
