Default RE: engine causing glitching

Hi,

3 words….

CHANGE YOUR SPARKPLUG!!

First of all… when a sparkplug gets old… it takes more power to fire it. A larger field is produced in the magneto, and more EM noise is made. Also… you want to use a resistor plug. A low value resistor will control current, and in turn… lowers the EM noise.

The stock Traxxas electronics will run fine in close proximity to a gas engine.

I’m still drinking my coffee… so give me a couple hours and I’ll look up the correct spark plug # for you.

Oh… BTW… NGK plugs seem to be the best in RC applications.
