Wow I got my own post. I feel so important now. NOT There is a fine line between rules and rule making. We have rules, but not enough to take a fun hobby and turn it into a chore. What ever happened to the fun aspect. I am merely pointing out the fact that you dont need rulers, which it is unfortunate to say most clubs think they are. Rules are important, and we do have them, but we aren't willing to loose what little we have due to the fact that we can't lay off the rule making. There are some great clubs out there, I know that for fact. But unfortunately there are more that aren't good. I say we promote this hobby and get more people involved so clubs dont have to struggle to make ends meet and keep what little they have. So if you have a problem with me pointing things out then don't tell me about struggling clubs that only have so much space. Of course a soccer mom is going to forget about RC clubs when their child comes back from the field with the Dad and a wrecked airplane cause someone was too busy having coffee, or a plane that saw no air time because they weren't part of the "group". I know not everyone has tons of space in the places they live. Heck alot of places have to use a shoe horn to get any more people in there. I guess tryin to get people thinking and trying new things and doing more to promote the hobby, and find and aquire places to fly is out of the question on here. Sorry if I burst anyones bubble but all the doom and gloom that is all over RC Universe gets old. If i can point something out or bring out a new idea in someone somewhere then I'm happy. That's all its about. Dreams are the stuff reality is made of, but only if you are willing to chase them.
