Pilgrim-- I'll probably go get this thing tomorrow (LHS closed today). I'm debating whether to stay with the .91, or see what kind of price I can get with the .82, they have both in stock. I decided that I'll leave the .80 in the WACO regardless, it flies just fine with it.
A couple of guys in the club have these ARF's. One guy flies it more than his BUSA DR-1, and the other guy actually has three--one on wheels, one on FLOATS (they're covered to match the plane) and one in the box as a spare. The Floatin'Fokker

looks like it was made for floats, and is really wild to see fly. He has a .91 on it, says it's plenty of power even with the floats (GP 60 size).
I plan to sit on it a while, just finished the WACO about a month ago, finishing up an H-9 80 inch Cub floatplane right now, I'm about ARF'ed out for a few weeks. I am going to rip the cover off before I even start it, and re-do it in Koverall, paint it in another scheme. I'd like to find Werner Voss's DR-1 maybe. He was killed in the second one to arrive at the front (hopefully that won't be a bad omen) I might do pull-pull controls for both elevator and rudder, and some other scale details.
I've always enjoyed watching this plane in the air, and it's a good size; smaller than the BUSA one, larger than Proctor's, and I don't have to build the dang wings! AND it's IMAA legal!
