Fellow at the field flies his P-40 with a 1.00 Saito, uses a 15-6 two blade, mostly. He also flies with a three blade occasionally, I think a 14-6 or -8, neither of which fly it as well as the 2 blade. He's like you, wants the 3 blades because it is more 'scale' (I like them, too), but it is noticably less 'energetic' with the 3 bladed props. I've flown it a couple of times, don't have quite the feel for it, but it does seem less responsive.
