I would add the WOW factor. Probably it's in the FUN factor you listed, but fun and wow may not be the same thing all the time... [X(] [X(]

There just aren't many 4 rotor back yard stable flying Anythings for us to add to the Expensive Toys Bin. This DF is the Top One in my book.

I've looked for years for something like this, fairly simple, easily repaired, no fuel/grease/noise/setup mess, no flight field hassles, no posting your freq ID and waiting an hour for other people to finish flying, no only-going-out-on-a-super-nice-sunny-windless-day thing (hey, that's why we have basements!)...

I put one of mine in the air either inside or outside at least a couple times a week and have since I first got one that was stable (we won't talk about the DF2 hehey) and in spite of all the glitches, phone calls and FedEx to Mike and endless RCToys-waiting-for-DHL stuff, I still give it both thumbs up! GO FLYERS!
