The ground full throttle RPM should be around 9-10k with a wooden 14x6 I bet you'll be getting closer or over 10 since it's pretty light weight. The APC props are heavier so they don't spool up as fast or at as high an rpm (They are still good though). I use a 14x6 - 14x8 prop on mine for sport flying and I think that would be appropriate for your Jug assuming you are at sea level. If you need a little more prop to clear around the cowl a 15x6 would do in a pinch I'm sure.
Idle RPM of course should be as low as is reliable. Mine are both fairly new and so I'm only getting about 2500rpm fairly reliably inverted.
They really are good engines but as with ANY engine with a ring break-in is a critical time frame and needs to be attended to with care for details. After run oil is always a good idea.
