As has been said, they went doing what they loved and likely, knowing it was their time, they would have scripted it along those lines.
THe suits/politicians that sit in their offices and try to micro-manage and figure out ways to protect us from ourselves are people I can't figure out. If they spent a fraction of the time trying to force our justice system to protect us from those who intentionally hurt, steal and kill, we'd all be able to enjoy life that much more.
