Agreed. Even the less than top of the line FMS is great for learning to hover. Especially if you add some wind and / or make sure that your controls aren't 100% properly trimmed out, by changing the trim on the TX a notch after calibrating them in FMS, the FMS-model for the T-Rex 450X that I downloaded responds reasonably like the real thing. With perfect calibration and no wind, FMS seems to be a bit too easy and it probably won't simulate 3D-moves too well. I have flown inverted and landed safely right side up in FMS several times, but it'll probably be a while before I'll try it on the real thing. :-) I'm now at the stage where I'm going to start on learning nose-in with my T-Rex, so I'm going to make sure I'll be able to do it on the sim first.
