Default RE: magnum .91 4 stroke advice needed

Hey guys, I just got a Magnum 0.91 four stroke yesterday. I have three questions: I followed the instructions in the package for proper break in. I ran it seven times, each time adjusting the RPM to lean it out a little more. I started with the high speed adjustment really rich at about 2.75 turns out. This gave me 6200rpm and a lot of smoke. By the time I finished I was still running it rich at about 8000RPM. So the next time I run it I will try to lean it out to find the top RPM and make my first flights at about 500-600RPM lower than that untill its fully broken in. Then I will drop it back 300rpm from full.

1. Does that sound right for this engine?

Next thing. I have not adjusted anything yet (other than the high speed needle). I did notice that throughout the break-in time yesterday the engine did not run smooth, the rpm kept changing (slightly).
2. Is this just because I was running it rich and it has not fully broken in?

Final question.
3. How are you guys getting the after-run oil into the crank-case, the carb intake is the only thing open.
