It was easier for me to roll outside of the turn. Direction of the turn didnt matter.
Everyone is different though.

If your going to fly IMAC at any level past Intermediate you need to be able to go inside, outside and have the turn go any direction.
I see people (even in Unlimited) fly an Unknown downwind because the roller works out better for them in that direction.
