I read your thread with great interest. Thanks for submitting it. The video of it is pretty grainy but I noted that it seemed to work quite well. It seems awful heavy. What was the white material made out of? It actually resembles a leaf spring on a car. I think it is kinda cool that everyone is working on this problem. I attached my camera to the rear view mirror of my car. Even then, the bumps could be seen in the captured video. Personally I am going to work on the fluid filled mount idea. It's not new but there is promise with this. The gel pads seem to be OK but are a little thick to respond to fast, high frequency vibration.
