Mark, the matieral is expanded PVC plastic. It's actually very light and strong. The white rotors blades are made of the same matieral. I'm toying with the fluid mount idea, and maybe I'll tinker with it this weekend. SURPRISE! The package came from RC Toys today! Soon the fun will begin.
