Ok, that's not the only plane. Since you're looking for a throw it in the car and fly plane, I need to mention my favorite "beater" plane. Consider one of the World Models Aircombat series. While they're not the prettiest to look at, they fly great. Mine has an OS .32 FSR and it screams, but will slow down well. I take this plane to the field more often than any other. I like it so much I have an unassembled one in the closet for the inevitable day when I crash it. The one that gets the second most flights is the Extra 300. Another choice is the Thunder Tiger Lazy Tiger P-51. I don't have one, but those on here who do speak highly of them.
