I'm designing my first electric - a slow flying parousel wing throwback with 42" span, 220 squares, traditional balsa framing, flying weight 20-24 oz. Throttle, elev., and rudder. I have the airframe worked out, but am not sure about controls and motor.
Questions:
- Hitec S55 servos OK for rudder/elev?
- Motor size? Speed 400?
- Geared or direct drive?
- Prop dia. and pitch?
- Suitable synthetic coverings?
- ESC and BEC suggestions?
- Battery - Lipo?
- Charger?
