Default RE: Realistic Combat?

hi guys, combat in the uk is still very new infact you cant buy a proper combat model over here we still have to make spads, and yet the money is already starting to fly out of wallets to get any advantage over the opposition which is a real shame.

it all started so well too about 20 of us from all over the country built the same models debuts i think and we just chucked any old motor upto 30 size in them, some were so knackerd they could hardly fly at all but we laughed our arses off all day long it was really good fun, but now its already getting very competitive which is fine but it means that people are having to spend more on certain engines and pipes MVVS seems most popular at the moment but if someone else wins with a different make they will start buying them no doubt

personally i think the models are easy fast enough already but need to fly a lot better
so some have started trying the DRACO but early reports are that they can be a bit fragile, which is why im trying to find a source of 60psi foam not just for me but so that i can make it available to all the combat fliers over here not wanting to make a profit at all but i would like us all to have a good flying model and possibly a standard engine for all to use prefarebly a bushed motor as they apparantly take dirt naps a lot better no bearings to get knackerd and all that, even if it means going to a bigger size as they are less powerfull maybe TT42gp or OS 40 la although OS motors are a bit pricey over here
just checked the price and an OS40la is $102 dollars here in the uk

so wot do you lot think? if you could all start again what would do differently?
