Yes, 4-1/2 seems to be pretty nice, lay it on it's back and it just stays there.
I don't know how much your engine weighs, but this little gasser is very light. I added nothing to balance it.
I have the throttle servo just about where it calls for it, I just had to move it over a bit because I pulled the tank as far back as I could.
Along with the ignition battery, is the ignition(light) module both up front behind the firewall.
