No offense, just busting.
I don't know how much your engine weighs, but this little gasser is very light. I added nothing to balance it.
Now do you believe me????
Yup, I sure do...the light little gasser is why you had no problem with balance. The Tigre 3000 is a heavy engine in my opinion. I did a rebalance at 4¼" and decided that I will put two servo's in the tail for elevator. I was concerned about the goo getting into the rudder servo if I mounted it under the fuse so I will mount it in the recommended location. (Thanks Joe)
I will use a Webra Bully for power and still have to mount the throttle servo back with the rudder servo and put the battery pack somewhere behind the cockpit to get it to balance.
Reason for using the Bully is that with the 3000 I was only able to get unlimited vertical, slow climb!, using a 16-6/10 on a 9 pound stick. With 10½ pound bird I'll need the extra horsepower to hang on the prop. Don't know which size prop I'll need to use yet. I'll keep you informed!
Thanks Guys,
