Default YS110 Regulator Setting

Dave

I recently purchased a YS110 and it is one excellent engine. I owned a 91AC previous, and it was excellent as well. I ran a 15x8 APC at about 8300rpm with it for years, until I wore it out. Never had to touch anything. Have about 1 gallon of CP15% thru 110 to date, with no problems. Getting 9600rpm to 9700rpm full throttle on APC15x8 and about 2000rpm idle. Fantastic power and reliability to date. Excllent transition, and it is wet. Fellow fliers ask me what kind of smoke system I'm using! Fuel goes in green and residue on wing is still green.

Question is that in the instructions, it states the regulator screw should be flush from the factory. Mine is out between 1/32 and 1/16 inch I estimate. Should this be of any concern? The 91 was flush and never needed to be touched. I had one flight that engine quit on lo idle, but no other problems.
