Default Death of E-Flite Tribute 3D

Went to the park today to fly my E-Flite Tribute 3D. I had 2 soccer fields worth of space and in the 40 acre park, only 3 others were up at the top in the BBQ area. Well, I had a nice 10 minute flight, until...the wind picked up a bit, I got a tailwind, and began to head for the parking lot. With only about 30 feet left, I decided to kill the motor and glide her in. Gave a little down elevator, and WHAM, right into the soft grass. [&o] Radio gear appears to be fine (gotta check it under a microscope first, or send it in to be inspected), but the plane is not totaled, but I don't want to fix it. A bud that was with me saw the thing happen, and we went to the LHS and I got a CAP 580 foamie to put all the gear into. . I was waiting for the thing to finally die, because it was mostly a flying glob of glue and tape.

EDIT---

Changed the thread name a bit.
