RE: wild hare extra 260 ailerons
The airplane that I took my measurments from was the PMP Extra 260. Short history lesson here. The PMP 260 has also been refered to as the Von 260 due to it's designer Dave Vonlinswe ( may have spelled that wrong) The production rights were eventually sold to Gene at Troy built. Gene changed the construction some but the outline and surface locations all stayed the same. Tom's 260 is VERY close. The engine thrust line, wing and stab center lines are all within 1/4" of the PMP. The major difference was the stabs were 2 1/4" forward on the Wild HAre thus the reason for moving them back 2". As of this writing the airplane has been fitted with a DA 100, the cowl cut and fitted. Covering has begun and I think it should be test flown towards the end of October.
