So, first interview of the day is done. And man am I glad I sent in my resume! I interviewed with the President of the company and they're looking to have me start in two weeks, once he talks with his partners about hiring me. It sounds like an interesting job too. I would be going out to assist clients with computer problems and would almost never be in the office. Apparently, the 'Engineers' as they're called work through a dispatcher. I'd get a company laptop and a Blackberry (and apparently a Nextel two-way radio/phone). Talk about techie! It's geek heaven.
I'm hoping to hear back from them soon as to whether I'm an employee or not, but I don't imagine I'll hear from them before my other interview this afternoon. I'm not sure what I should tell the woman I'm going to meet. Maybe that she should still consider me for a part-time Web Designer position, but that I'd be happy to work full time if the job I interviewed for this morning doesn't pan out? I don't know. All I know is that the pay she offered is somewhat lower than what I expect to get at the IT job.
Man, I'm still hyped up from the interview! I'm amazed that I found the job I wanted when I got out of college, and that they're actually interested in me.
