Sorry about your bad luck.[] From earlier threads there did seem to be some awfully soft balsa and a fusealage pretty weak around horizontal stab. Many flyers have been reinforcing tail feathers with wires. There are also alot of people who have put UCDs through the wringer and never had a failure. (Barry C.) Was wondering if you restrained the plane tail in pit area with a ground rod. They can put an awful lot of strain on the tail. Just a thought.
