As a moderator it's our job to try and keep the threads "on topic", either that or close them down. In the last 2 build threads that I've watched the threads to go off topic occasionally. I did some thinking about this and came to this conclusion, that they didn't need to be closed. The reason I decided to not close them because the off topic posts usually mimics life. You case for example, your posts leaned toward your job situation. That situation in the real world did affect your build, so in my mind it wasn't really off topic. IMHO, building a plane can get interrupted by a lot of things and showing those interruptions here in the thread just mimics real world life. Heck, I've had builds that sit on the table for months with nothing getting done on them. I don't mind if those interruptions are shown here. Just as long as the discussion comes back to the build then I have no problems with it happening. Now if the discussion went off topic , for instance talking about another plane or something, then I would close that down. But as it happened here I think it's perfectly alright.
