Default NewBe Whats the cheapest 3 channel radio

What about the GWS flight pack that is made for the Slow stick? It comes with servos, receiver, flight battery, ESC and switch harness for $85. They also sell one with a Transmitter for $115, and an inexpensive Tx separately for $35.

The only things you would have to add to the package is, a 12 volt charger, AA batteries for the Tx, a Rx xtal and, if you could afford it, a second flight battery.

The nice thing about going this way is that everything is plug and play. When you start mixing brands you will find out (like I have) how many different plugs are being manufactured now... And how much it costs to make them all the same.

Check Horizon Hobbies (I think they are the importers of GWS products).

As far as others, I have had great luck with JR and Futaba, and have heard good things about Hitec systems.

My two cents worth... and worth every penny.
