Default NewBe Whats the cheapest 3 channel radio

The Hitec SS3 is a great beginner radio, it also has mixing capability if you move up to a V-tail or flying wing ( like a ZAGI ) in the future.
Skip the Feather rcvr - HS 55 package, the GWS stick has plenty of wing area, if you take the case off the 555 receiver, it only weighs a few grams more than the Feather, and is a much better receiver. The HS 81 servos are a bit heavier, but again the Stick will handle the weight.

Or buy both the GWS PICO flight pack ( 80-90$), and the SS3, and you will have the SS3 flight pack to use in a second plane.

Good luck, have fun
