What 2 cool said is very very true. Hold off on a bipe until you get at least your second plane all worn out.

2slow hit the nail on the head. There are certain flight characteristics that ALL biplanes have. And one of those is a thing that makes them rough as second planes. That is they DO NOT float in for a landing. Every bipe I've ever flown (and that's about 8 different ones now) had to be flown in for a landing. Until a pilot it comfortable doing that a biplane is going to be more than a handful. Some biplanes are easier to land, but none of them will land like a trainer or a 4-star. Sorry.
