I had to laugh out loud when I read this. I worked behind the counter of my LHS for many years and we are a 15 minute ride from a Navy Test pilot school. When those guys would wonder in, it was always a laugh. " If I can fly an F-18 Hornet, I think I can certainly handle one of these toys" is what I would get as they looked over their RayBans at me like I was an idiot. Heaven forbid, they would buy a "trainer", they always wanted the warbird. The very next day they would bring the airplane back to the store in a bushel basket or trash bag with their ego deflated and they got to listen to my "I told you so" greating.
