Finally got out to fly mine again. Only got one flight on it last week. I had some Blue Bird 621MGs on the elevators and thay sucked big time. Refitted the plane with 5 Hitec 5645s. Now it has the control authority it needs.

After flying this one, I realized just how different it is than flying profiles. This is my first full-fuse plane in about 3 years. You can't yank it around like a profile and expect it not to snap. It will take me a little while to get used to it. KE was great. Didn't even have to touch the right stick. I stink at harriers, but the ST locked in to them and made it really easy.

One question - I'm having trouble getting symmetrical throws out of the ailerons. they will move a LOT more down than up. Can't get close to the up throws stated in the manual, but down is no problem. I tried to align the servo arm so that it makes a right angle with the control rod. Is that how it's supposed to be? If nothing else works, I'll put some longer arms on the servos and adjust the end points to get the right throw....
i used the long single sided arm that came with the 5645s and the throw wasnt an issue. i acually had to change end points to get them right on the manual.. the high rates are VERY responsive on this plane. rolls are blazing.. the only plane i have had to drop to low rate to do rolling harriers even at very high alpha they were still FAST
