You've got to be kidding, RIGHT. Heck I could crash / wreck a tank if I tried and you WILL destruct a plane sometime if you get one. To start with -- forget about not destroying a plane and consentrate on trying to get help and taking your time to learn correctly, that's the best NONDESTRUCTION thing going for you. Sorry to be so blut but it's fact. Your starting with the wrong attitude.
Go to a local field and see what is going on there and ask them for assistance, it will be the best thing you can do.

Now as far as a plane that can take a beating, try going to falcon-trading.com . And look at their plastic planes, the Ready is the closest to a trainer and can be used as one if you have assistance. Repairs for some new people are a bit hard but can be done and parts are available. I assumed you were looking for a 40 size plane.
