Dusty, CHILL BRO. I had a spad high wing "trainer" and it flew ok but not nearly as well as my balsa trainer. I'd go wiht a balsa plane if at all possible. You will be much happier.

Edit: We on here feel obligated to give the best advise we can to insure your long enjoyment of this hobby. What he was trying to say is if you get the tower and and instructor and fly at a field that plane will be "indestructable" due to the fact that they will send you a new on if you crash before you learn. NOW if you are unable for what ever reason to get an instructor you could check the spad forum area here on RCU. (At least people were'nt saying you would kill yourself or someone else if you don't get an instructor.)
