Default World Models Dago Red?

Jeremy,

I've had a Rossi racing .40 and a Thunder Tiger .61 in my Dago. I 1st ran the TT with a Mac't tuned pipe and later I took the pipe off. The prop was too small with the Rossi to get any real bite although once up to speed the plane did OK in a straight line turns had to be wide to keep the speed up. The piped .61 had the most power but was not the most fun. The .61 with the stock muffler is the best comination so far. This gives decent speed with good transistion and low end torque. the gear bends on the best of landings (easily bent back). All in all the plane flys very well with no surprises. I've seen many a post stating this plane stalls easy. I haven't had this problem.

If I were to build another, here is a list of the changes I would make:

Less dihedral
use a YS .91 AC
shorten the wingspan (for less drag)
shorten the stab (for less drag)
use better retracts
use carbon shaft pushrods (althought the stock rods have held up ok)
