We have several Pro 46s in our club now, most were bought because mine ran so good. All the others also run very good and the youngest has at least two seasons on it. I can remember when OS was just a so so engine. They figured out what it took to make a very reliable engine and now they have a well deserved reputation. Others, such as TT, are now getting things figured out as well. BTW, the Pro 46 ran great again this last Sunday at the Float Fly, I put four flights on it and it never missed a beat. It has the same power it has had since day one, jerking the Mariner out of the water and doing aerobatics the whole flight. Amazing watching a seaplane flying continues circuits in KE with ease while I fight to make even one circuit with my Harrier 46. My friend with an 0S 46 powered Seamaster was also there, it quite on landing approach every flight except the last one. Being as he is a good friend, I had to rib him as he was getting in a wobbly john boat to rescue his plane.
