The fastest rc cars and trucks I've ever heard of are from Schumacher (made in England). They make a new 1/10 scale touring car called the Fusion which is supposed to pull around 70MPH right out of the box. With only the optional gearing, it's supposed to pull 80+MPH!! Schumacher also makes a 1/10th scale truck called the XTR and a big 1/6th scale nitro car called BIG 6 - both of which are supposed to be capable of 70+MPH.

Big block .21 nitro engine, 3 speed transmission, FAST! If anyone knows of any faster production rc cars and trucks than this, I'd like to know too!!

I've heard of fast custom nitro cars that cost $1000's to build up. It'd be cool, but I'd rather buy a stock rc car for $100's that's capable of 80mph and then hop it up from there. Be a lot cheaper to get to the big speeds that way. RC Nitro magazine hopped up a RS4 Super and got it to pull 101MPH, but they spent nearly $5000 and 8 months of work to get there!! OUCH!
