I'll stop being a broken record the day I can get it through the heads of these kids that RTR's are a joke. Period.
Nothing drives me crazier than when someone ignores what I tell them, buys an RTR, then immediately gripes about the crappy performance. They then show up weeks later lamenting just how much money they have wrapped up in their RTR and just how disappointed they are in it. I read it every day. If I can get through to one person, before they make a BIIIIG mistake, then I did my job.
Especially in this case, a KIT RC10B4 would be the best choice. For the kind of 'Racing' he wants to do, an RTR will die, a horrible death. The Evader especially will come home in a basket.....
If you don't want to listen, that's your problem. Maybe someone else will read this and get the idea.
Based on his initial post, I kind of think he's read one of your rants before, and that's why he stated what he did in the first few sentences. My point is, if you want to start your own thread about how evil rtr's are, go for it, don't do it in a thread like this, where he specifically stated not to. Incidently, I don't disagree with you on the issue of rtrs, but this thread isn't about that. That said, I'm done fouling up this guys thread, sorry Pickman.
