RE: How to tune an air bleed carb?
The adjustments are exactly the opposite (on the low end range) of a traditional two needle carb. As said above, start with the screw half way across. To richen the low end, turn the screw in so that the opening in the air bleed becomes smaller i.e. so it can let in less air. To make it leaner, turn the screw out so that less of it is exposed in the hole, which lets more air in.
