If you can keep the plane at the suggested 8-9 lbs. the new 3W 28i is worth a look. 42.72 oz. with ignition. The new ignition system is plug and play with all four battery groups, without the need for a regulator. I'm using a 900 mAh 7.4V liPo on ignition. Its not completely broken in yet and will turn an 18/8 @ 8500 rpm, yielding 15 lbs. thrust. Just put an 18/10 on with an rpm drop of 900, but still yields 15 lbs. Once broken in and on synthetic there should be some better performance and move to a 20/8 prop. The new ignition system is hotter on the low and high end. Transition is lightning quick and the engine runs smoothly. Check it out. Joe
