Be sure to put the ring gap the right way from the pin - if installed at "Eight oclock" it will catch oin the boost port and break.

Very helpfull response William. I should be getting the new ring on Tuesday. I'll give it a go using this knowledge. I'm hopefull that it will be a quick and easy rebuild.
