Thought it was the mid wing trainer that showed up as the first picture.

As for the Italian made plastic aeroplanes, I have seen some of these (Highwinged )and they do look rather nice allthough a little on the heavy side...and nearly imposible to repair.
So I would definitely go with a wooden ARF airplane like the one I suggested before...the low winged Kyosho Calmato Sport....or any other .40 size low winged airplane ...except the semi scale .40 size CAP ,or YAK clones...you name it...semi scale aerobatic aeroplane. Because they don't fly as well as non scale airplanes!
