The C-124 had a Davis wing, same as B-24. Had the misfortune to crawl through wing to ck. tach generator wires for an engineer that couldn`t tell if it was still turning ! This at about 8000 feet and mid-Atlantic . This was a good old bird. Old Shakey,we used to call them. big max 1935
