Default C-124 Globemaster

I went in in 1969 and went to Shepard AFB, Norton AFB, Cam Rahn Bay RVN, and Dyess AFB. Discharged in 1973. While in Vietnam I was on C17's, C123's, and C130's. At Norton I trained on C141's, and ocassionally flew on Air National Guard C124's when they came in to Norton, just for grins. They use to refer to the Globemaster as "Old Shakey" and described it as 80,000 rivets flying in loose formation.

Here is a pic I took of one at Norton in 1971

Cheers

That should have been C7's not C17's, but I wish we would have had those.
