The reference you noted is overlooking the fact that pure aluminum foil would be too weak to be usable. Note your reference in every case said "Foil."

Hydrochloric acid will not affect pure aluminum, but the reaction with aluminum oxide gives pure aluminum, water, and free chlorine as its products. If left on the metal too long it will attack the alloy metals in the aluminum panels, but that is a much slower reaction and the HCl is generally neutralized by reacting with AlO or rinsed off before that happens.

Ammonia will react with pure aluminum, ammonia is a caustic, or alkaline, liquid. Chemists like to call these a "Base" now.

Most household bleaches, as I remember, are thiosulfates, they react to many things, including the coloring in your hair.
