To avoid flooding, I choke it then flip the prop about 5 times by hand with the ignition off. Then turn on the ignition and use the starter. It starts immediately every time. No choking is needed for restarts. I know most guys flip these electronic ignition engines but now thaty I have the Miller starter its easy to use.
