RE: H9 60 Size P-47 Thunderbolt-Build & Flying
I just bought one it's a very nice kit and one of the best ARF covering jobs I have seen. Trust me because I have looked at almost every ARF the LHS has received before buying this one. Another nice feature is the cowl looks like a work of art and almost worth the price of the entire kit. There are a few problems with the kit but nothing major. Mine had a slight sunken in warp in the fuselage balsa sheeting on the bottom 1/8! Also the fiberglass belly pan is pretty sad and detracts from the quality of the kit. This is my first retract model I can say that hooking up the retracts is not a plug and play task as the instructions seem to state. Don't be fooled by the fact the retracts are mounted into thinking it's just a matter of hooking them up. I can supply some pictures of my procedure using a Hitech retract servo latter in the post. The quality of the kit is very nice and I think will improve even more once the first batch of rush out the door kits are weeded out. For me I have always liked the P-47 and couldn't wait that long.
