I really like the way this plane flys. Yesterday I took part of the afternoon off and got a few flights in. It was pretty windy, about 20MPH I'd say. Anyways this plane handles the wind pretty good too. Landings are really not that big of a deal. Unlike my Funtana, the Showtime just settles in without too much trouble. Biggest thing I have on landings is you have to watch the carbon fiber gear or it will break with just a moderate hard landing. Also, I don't use the SFGs in wind, too hard to land without breaking.
Today, one of my airleron control horns came loose. You remember, the ones where you're not supposed to use a locknut, just glue it. I have about 50 flights on mine and this is the first time it's came loose. I'm gonna use a locknut this time. My advice to others just building is to use a locknut also. Just to be safe. I caught mine in a routine inspection and didn't have any problems.
Best move of the day...In the wind I was able to hold a KE hover for about 10-15 seconds. Pretty cool. Also, a few no throttle flat spins from way up. The wind blows it the entire length of our field but takes forever to drop.
THanks
