I just ordered my first plane too. I picked the Cessna 182 from all of the postings I found on this site. Thanks for pulling many of them into one posting.

I have a question on using the packing tape to reinforce the plane. Is it done lengthwise to the wing and body? Is there any overlap in the process? I like the idea, but I also want to maintain the looks of the plain.

How about a shrink-wrap material? Does the heat used to set the material effect the styrofoam of the plane?

Any help or comments is greatly appreciated.
