I have a friend who has a Quadra 40. He just got some new rings and is in the process of reassembling the engine.

He is having trouble getting the needle rollers onto the crankpin. Does anyone have a procedure for fitting the rod back onto the crankshaft and then fitting the rollers?.

Do you fit the rollers first and then put the rod onto the shaft?, or do you fit the rollers after the rod is on the shaft?.

I have not seen the engine so I am describing this from a second hand description.


Any Ideas??.
