That's not so bad. There is a full size P-51B that was built from parts about 10 -15 years ago and painted to represent Don Gentile's "Shangri-la". The airplane was later sold to a guy who repainted it in a civilian scheme with anti-drug slogans all over it. [:@][:'(]

It wasn't THAT bad Mike! I had a chance to see the "Believer" while it was in its over all red paint and it was quite attractive. This airplane is now "Princess Elizabeth" with the Fighter Collection in the UK and has just emerged from a multi-year restoration. It is now more stock than it ever has been.
