I emailed Lanier asking about the accuracy of the wing area and if this airplane would build to 18 pounds with a 4 pound motor and 2 ounce standard servos and the included hardware, well they assured me that the information was accurate. I am not going to hold my breath, but hope that it is correct.
There is still some wiggle room here. 4 pound motor--is this with muffler, spark, ignition? How is the wing area calculated? What would be nice is to have a bare weight of the plane(with hardware) and wing dimensions to calculate wing area.
