If you have not purchased a soldering iron already. I used J-B WELD on my tail wires. Home Depot has it and I guar-on-teee it will hold them forever !!! Just shine up the wire tips with some sandpaper. Only problem is it takes overnite to dry. If you can't find powdered graphite Depot also has some stuff called " LOCK-EASE " (Liquid Graphite) Works really good on squeaks, sticky pushrods, hinges etc...
